The Ministry of Justice heads the management bodies of the Real Estate Register, the Register of Legal Entities, the Mortgage Register, the Register of Property Seizure Acts, the Address Register, the Register of Laws and Other Legal Acts of the Republic of Lithuania, the Register of Contracts, the Register of Marriage Settlements and the Register of Wills. The Ministry coordinates the work of management bodies of the abovementioned registers in accordance with the established procedure, monitors compliance with register data safety requirements, controls the implementation of annual and long-term register budgets. The Ministry ensures that the registers are managed in accordance with laws and register provisions, and has other rights and obligations provided for in the Law on State Registers, register provisions and other legal acts.
