Protection of human rights and freedoms in criminal procedure



The Ministry of Justice analyses the effectiveness of application and the prospects for improvement of legal acts related to criminal law and criminal procedure law. It provides legal conclusions and proposals on the improvement of legal regulation in the area of criminal procedure, taking into account the necessity of protecting human and civil rights and freedoms as well as public and state interests; participates in the assessment of legal acts in the areas of criminal law and criminal procedure law, and prepares proposals on the amendment (improvement) or declaration of legal acts as null and void.
